PRE & POST COLOR DO'S AND DON'TS

 

Pre & Post Color Do’s and Don’ts

For best results, please follow the following do’s and don’ts prior to coming in for any color service.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  1. 1. DO wash your hair the day before and arrive to your appointment with clean, dry hair. Your hair should be free of hair products, scalp oil, &/or root spray, or any other root cover-up. We reserve the right to cancel and charge for color services if this rule is not followed. Proceeding with the service under such circumstances will give less than subpar, if not unsatisfactory, results.

  2. DO brush your hair. An extra charge of $5-10 will apply for knotty hair that takes over 2 minutes to brush out, depending on the length of time it takes for us to brush the hair.

  3. DO bring up to 2 pictures of your desired hair color.

  4. DO pre-treat your hair with a deep conditioning mask 1-2x/week before coming in.

  5. We reserve the right to cancel and charge for color services if rules 1-3 are not followed. Proceeding with the service under such circumstances will give less than subpar, if not unsatisfactory, results.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

Your satisfaction means the world to us. Please call us within 5 days of your service if you are unhappy with the results of your color service. 

DO Wash your hair within 2-3 days, especially after a lightening service, to make sure you like the tone of your hair.


IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR TONE AFTER A LIGHTENING SERVICE

Wash your hair before calling. Sometimes your tone isn’t at its truest color when you first get your hair lightened. If you wash your hair & you’re still unhappy, give us a call within 5 days of your service. We will get you in for a complimentary tone rebalancing within 10 days of the original service. Just make sure you call us asap so that we can get you in within the 10-day window.


DO make sure you use home care products designed for your hair's condition and preserve the longevity of your color.
